ENCODING OPTIONS

* Submission Formats: We accept all standard definition tape formats; Digibeta, Beta, Beta SP, VHS, SVHS, DVCAM, MiniDV, 3/4 and 1 inch. Also DVD or digital file submission; AVI, MOV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MP4, VOB, Hi-Res Windows Media or Real. NTSC or PAL.

* High Definition: We accept Sony HDCAM and HDV formats. Other HD formats can be submitted on a "per project" basis

* Web Encoding Formats: We offer all current and most legacy codecs for Windows Media, Real, QuickTime, Flash 8, 3GP, MPEG-4, and MP3.

o Windows Media: WM9, WM8, WM7, Audio 9 (compatible with WM8 and WM9)
o Flash: On2 VP6 (Flash 8), Spark Pro (Flash MX)
o QuickTime: H264, MPEG-4, Sorenson 3, AAC audio, Q-Design audio
o Real: Real 10, Real G2, Cook Audio, Surestream
o 3GP: MPEG-4, H263, AMR audio, AAC audio

* Digitizing and Archive Formats: DIY encoding and editing, or being prepared for future format improvements.

o AVI - RGB, YUY2, HuffYUV, WM9, DV
o MOV - None, MotionJPEG, PhotoJPEG, DV
o Raw DV, MPEG-2 (Program or Elementary streams, vob, AC3)

* Choice Of Delivery Speeds: Your project can be encoded to be delivered at your choice of bitrates. Suggested bitrates:

o Modem: 40kbps
o DSL/Cable: 100kbps, 220kbps, 300kbps, 450kbps
o Hi Speed DSL/LAN/Fiber: 700kbps, 1200kbps, 2000kbps

* Choice Of Frame Resolution: Standard video ratios, film ratios, or custom ratios. Our suggestions or your choice:

o 4:3 - 320x240, 480v360, 640x480
o 16:9 - 320x180, 480x272, 640x360
o 2.35:1 - 320x136, 480x204, 640x272

* Project Delivery: Free FTP delivery up to 500MB, your server or ours. Encoded files may be burned to CD-R or DVD-R. Larger files can be delivered via Firewire 400 or Firewire 800 drives, yours or ours.
